I wanted to thank you all for participating in person at the Orange County Alteryx User Group on October 10th! Deb and I were happy to bring you more Alteryx goodness! Here's a quick recap of what I covered during the session.
Presented community updates
Detailed when to use the Reporting tools and why they are important
Walked through a comprehensive workflow
As always, we wrapped things up with networking and questions.
This was a tremendous session! Our next user group meeting will be IN PERSON at the previous Alteryx HQ on Michelson in Irvine. We are looking to do this around the second week of December to have a holiday feel to it. We will keep the time from 4-6pm, Let us know what you would like to see. If you like to do a customer spotlight and hands-on activity, please let us know! Most importantly, tell your friends about this group. Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Deborah Diesel, Enrique Javier, and Chris Williams

Hello OC UG!
I'm excited to let you all know about the SoCal Datathon happening on Friday, October 18th on campus at Cal State Fullerton.
Alteryx and CSUF College of Business and Economics are partnering with the Orange County Transportation Authority to put 100+ Alteryx-certified students to the test with a data challenge centered around local transportation - with up to $20,000 in prizes at stake for the winning teams.
We need 3-4 additional judges to help select the winners!
Judging will take place from 1:30-3:30pm, and prize distribution will happen around 4pm. You are invited to join for the entire day, or just for the judging presentations.
@chriswilliams41 and @ddiesel will both be on site as well and are excited to have you join us.
If you are interested, please reach out to me via email: amais@alteryx.com
And if you're interested in seeing what a datathon event looks like, you can check out last year's SoCal datathon here.
Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone!
Welcome to the 2024 OC Alteryx User Group Q3 Meeting. It will be virtual for now. Deb and I will put forth an agenda. She and I will be presenting. I'll do a talk on Reporting Tools and when to use them. Deb will come up with a topic to speak on as well. We may also procure another speaker to fill in the hour.
In something new, we would like to use the final half hour to open up the floor to anyone having any Alteryx questions or problems. We are here to help you in any way. The last half hour will NOT be recorded for data privacy reasons.
Thanks!!!

Hey everyone!
I hope that you all are doing well. There are several major announcements. First, the Q3 User Group is being moved from September 26th to October 10th. We wanted to give more of an opportunity to promote the event as well as come up with a solid agenda. The time will be from 2-3:30pm. The first hour of the meeting will be recorded with our scheduled content. The last 30 minutes of the meeting will be an Alteryx Doctor session that will NOT be recorded. This meeting will be virtual, and we are exploring options to do in-person meetings. It has been crazy hectic, so thank you for your understanding!
Sincerely,
The Orange County Alteryx User Group Leadership

Hey everyone!
I hope that you all are doing well. There are several major announcements. First, the Q3 User Group is being moved from August 22nd to September 26th. We wanted to give more of an opportunity to promote the event as well as come up with a solid agenda. The time TBD. The reason for that is the second major announcement. All in-person meetings will no longer take place at Alteryx HQ. The building has been subleased and will not be available going forward. We will be switching the virtual meetings until we can procure another space to do in-person meetings. However, the Q4 User Meeting may take place at Cal-State Fullerton's campus, which will be the site for the next Alteryx Datathon, which will be in October. Let us know your thoughts on that.
Most importantly, thank you for your understanding. We know that these are big changes, but we will continue to bring you the best in Alteryx tips and tricks as well as networking opportunities. We are so thankful that you are a part of the OC Alteryx User Group!
Sincerely,
The Orange County Alteryx User Group Leadership
