Thank you to everyone who joined us for the NJ Alteryx User Group meeting on Thursday, July 24th. It was another insightful and engaging virtual session with great participation from the community! We extend our sincere thanks to Steve Ahlgren, Engineer at Alteryx, for delivering a thought-provoking presentation on “Adopting Test-First Thinking for Developing Workflows.”

We kicked off the session with opening remarks and a warm welcome from Jude Francis. Steve Ahlgren then shared a powerful framework for applying test-first thinking to Alteryx workflow development. His presentation highlighted how early test design improves workflow reliability, simplifies debugging, and strengthens refactoring efforts—especially when working with legacy workflows. We thank everyone who contributed to the success of our 2025 Q1 NJ User Group meeting on April 2 nd . Your active participation and insightful questions made it a genuinely engaging and productive virtual meeting, and we couldn't have done it without each one of you!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our esteemed speaker, Jose Arevalo from DATA PREP U, for sharing his valuable insights about extracting data from SAP T-Codes & tables using DVW connectors with us.
Meeting Recap:
We started the virtual meeting with an introduction and a few announcements.
Jose Arevalo from DATA PREP U shared the process of using DVW Alteryx Connector for SAP (ACS) to integrate SAP with Alteryx, enabling seamless data extraction and loading.
The presentation was followed by a highly engaging Q&A session, where our members actively participated and contributed to the discussion.
