Hello, Alteryx NJ UG Members!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the NJ Alteryx User Group meeting on Thursday, July 24th. It was another insightful and engaging virtual session with great participation from the community!
We extend our sincere thanks to Steve Ahlgren, Engineer at Alteryx, for delivering a thought-provoking presentation on “Adopting Test-First Thinking for Developing Workflows.”
Meeting Recap
We kicked off the session with opening remarks and a warm welcome from Jude Francis.
Steve Ahlgren then shared a powerful framework for applying test-first thinking to Alteryx workflow development. His presentation highlighted how early test design improves workflow reliability, simplifies debugging, and strengthens refactoring efforts—especially when working with legacy workflows.
Following the talk, we had a dynamic Q&A session, where attendees posed thoughtful questions and sparked discussions about practical applications and best practices.
