For those of you who couldn't join our September meeting here are just a couple tips we picked up along the way and I'm sure these are documented elsewhere here if you did a search, but if you didn't know to ask the question you might never find the tip. So with that in mind here are just a couple quick tips on using containers in Alteryx.
- To quickly create a container with tools in it, just select all the tools you want in the container and right click and select create new container.
- To clean up a workflow minimize your containers and they will still run.
- To quickly disable a container in the workflow click on the top left part of the container window to disable (the container minimizes and turns the icon grey).
- Enable any disabled container in the workflow by clicking on the top left part of the container window to enable (the container maximizes and turns the icon blue).
Lots more tips were shared so come on out to the next meeting and learn from your fellow Alteryx Users.
Thanks again to everyone that came out to participate and to @Joe_Mako for coming out and demoing solutions for dealing with messy data in a more automated fashion and for @ThizViz for getting snacks and drinks!
