Hi Everyone,
Firstly, thank you to all of those who attended the London Alteryx User Group on Wednesday. We had 60 Alteryx enthusiasts in one place which was great to see and made it one of the highest attended user groups. We hope you enjoyed the prosecco reception and the beers + pizza.
As a request for future meetings, if you register but cannot attend, please can you update your attendee status as soon as possible as this helps us with planning of the event (room, food, drinks, etc.)
Here’s a summary of everything that we covered on the day with links to download material that was mentioned.
If you can help with any of the following, then please get in touch with me at: joe.lipski@javelingroup.com
- Speakers: Topics can include anything that you feel will be relevant and interesting to the audience. Some ideas are: Macros that you have created, Analytics Apps, Gallery Usage, Amazing Tips & Tricks, Adoption at your organisation, etc.
- Venues: If you think you have a suitable space in your building to host an Alteryx User group then please let us know. The user groups are run by the community and so we need your help where possible.
- User Group Leaders: If you are interested in putting your name forward to join the Alteryx User group committee then please let me know
Alteryx are incredibly excited to bring back the Alteryx Analytics Excellence Awards again for 2017 with the goal of recognising and celebrating your amazing Alteryx success stories. If you have a case study then please share it here

We had an hour working in groups completing the challenges from last year’s Grand Prix, which was great fun and hopefully everyone there learnt something new, I certainly did!
Here’s a link to the hands-on challenges from the day: bit.ly/alteryxusergroup10
All of the weekly challenges can be found here
A huge thank you to James Dunkerley (Alteryx ACE & Reigning EU Alteryx Grand Prix Champion) for talking about some of the content that he has created in Alteryx which can all be found on his website: https://jdunkerley.co.uk/
We also mentioned Adam Riley’s (Alteryx Developer) CREW Macros, which I suggest you all download from here.
We are looking to organise the next User group (UG) for Mid-June, so again please keep an eye out for details and please post on the message board or email me directly if you have feedback from this UG or ideas for future events.
Thanks,
Joe & the London AUG team!
