The Q1 2022 Business and Location Insights data packages are now available to plug into your analytic processes. The packages include analytics-ready data from a variety of vendors as well as data-specific analysis tools which will empower users to get the most from the packaged data. Here is what you can look forward to in this release:
Refreshed Data
This contains quarterly updates for D&B Business Data, Experian Consumer View, Kalibrate TrafficMetrix, and TomTom datasets.
Updated Data
- Experian ConsumerView has altered the variable ‘Birth_Date’ to ‘Birth_Year_Month_V2’.
- NOTE: 'BIRTH DATE' had the format yymmdd while ‘Birth_Year_Month_V2’ only has yymm.
- The missing characters from the original format has been replaced with two underscores.
- Address Points has appended a new field ‘CensusID_2020’. This will assist the US Geocoder to output a census Block ID from Census 2020 only if “Match and Geocode” are selected and the record has a match in the Address Points file.
- The functionality of “ClusterCode” Tool can now be reproduced using a lookup table we have provided as part of the Experian US Allocate install: ClusterCode_Type_byBlockGroup.yxdb
- This functionality can also be reproduced by using Allocate Append and selecting the Dominant Cluster Code and Dominant Cluster Type variables in the Experian US dataset.
Resources
All data packages are available via the Downloads and Licenses portal. US and Canada Business Insights customers will receive their hard drives later this week, but they are also welcome to download the data from the portal.
