Question
I see two similar layers in theAllocate Pick Geography Tab: Places and Other Name Places. The names look the same. What's the difference between them?
Answer
New to the Q2 2015 release, this is a new geography layer reflecting changes to incorporated places and is updated by our data provider TomTom. The difference between this layer and the current Places boundary is the latter is the US Census 2010 currency and is updated with the decennial census. The Other Name Places layer will be updated annually at the same timeframe as the Places geography layer.
(If you look at the key values for each, they are the same except the Other Name Places key has an "ON" suffix.)
