@mweik - do you have an update when 2020 Census geographies and data will be included in Allocate?
Thanks,
Collin
Census variable data found in our Business Insights Package is sourced from Experian CAPE, “Census Area Projections & Estimates”. Due to Census Bureau delays, Experian does not expect 2020 Census data to be included in CAPE until Spring 2023 at the earliest.
We will let our customers know when the data will be available as soon as we have concrete information.
@mweik - is there a document somewhere that details how often each dataset is updated? ie. which datasets are annual, quarterly, semi-annual, etc.
Thanks!
@Dynamomo the release notes pdf have a table that mentions this for each package. There is an excel file of variables, the last sheet also provides an update cadence and vintage.
the spreadsheet is perfect, thanks very much!
Happy New Year!
the December release of US_CAN CASS data seems to be corrupted. File size is only 29.86MB and Windows prevents the file from being executed.
best!
Michal
Thank you for bringing that to our attention. It appears that it has been addressed by removing the faulty download.
You can download US and Canada separately from their respective tabs.
Thank you @LisaL - looks solved!
Michał
It looks like Q4 2022 is available for US data, but Consumer view is still Q3 2022. Do we have an ETA on that one @mweik ?
Thanks!
Thank you for bringing the missing Q4 2022 ConsumerView download to our attention. I have inquired with our Fulfillment teams to identify if there was an error in the upload process or a matter of miscommunication. The larger size of ConsumerView can also occasionally cause the upload to be slower than the other files.
any updates on the 2020 Census data in Experian?
