Hello SparkED learners in academia,
As of August 21, 2024, the process for requesting your Designer Desktop license has changed slightly. Below is an outline of the process you can expect when requesting your license.
Step 1: Get Verified.
Start your Designer Desktop license request by navigating to alteryx.com/sparked/learning-programs/students and clicking the ‘Sign Up Now’ button. This will require you to provide some information to verify that you are a student at an academic institution.
Step 2: Request your License
Once you have been verified as an student at an academic institution, you will receive two emails.
- The first email will come from SheerID acknowledging that you have been verified.
- The second email will come from no_reply@alteryx.com. This email will request that you complete a required form that will provide us with more information about your planned usage and course(s). Fill out the required form to finalize your license request.
Note: For your Course Code/ Course Name please list the courses and codes where you plan to use Alteryx in the current semester.
Step 3: Activate your License
Next, a license key will be sent to your email inbox. It may take up to 3 business days to receive your license key after submitting the form. (Be sure to check your spam/junk folders.)
Follow the activation directions outlined in your license email.
