NEW RELEASE:
Ian from the Alteryx provided a demo of 2018.3 features including Visualytics, Caching, Python Tool, Server Scheduling, & Node Prioritization. Caching allows you to freeze your data at any point in the workflow so you can more quickly validate changes as you are building your analysis. The feature was a crowd pleaser.
USE CASE:
Michael with Ivy Investments/Waddell & Reed created a workflow on the fly. He demonstrated how to transform an excel file into a format that is Tableau friendly. By using RegEx, Joins, Multi-Row Formulas and more he was able to quickly clean and transform many files formatted the same way.
