What's the passing score for this year's Expert exam and how many of the seven questions must you attempt?

Hey! I’m trying to register for the Expert session on Tuesday afternoon and it says I have insufficient permissions to add it to my schedule. It’s not showing sold out/full like some others are - is this a glitch?

I have the same question as @bhall48. What is the minimum passing score on the Expert Exam? Is it 80% as with the other creds? It is not mentioned in the Expert exam guide.

Hi @DataNath Scheduling for the certification exams closed Monday morning to allow our certification team to prepare all the testing materials.

@Sarah is there any way to late register? I’m keen to give the certification a try and unless I’ve overlooked it didn’t see a deadline posted anywhere. I assumed as the certification is on offer year-round that the testing materials already exist.

Alteryx Certification exams are pass or fail exams. The exams are scored against a minimum standard established by Alteryx subject matter experts who follow certification industry best practices and guidelines. As with most Certification programs, Alteryx does not publish exam passing scores or rates as exam questions and cut scores are subject to change without notice. So, unfortunately, we can't share this information. Good luck on your attempt!
