Thank you for joining us at the Hong Kong User Group Meeting this Tuesday 12th March; the first meeting after COVID. It was wonderful to meet so many of you in person at the Oliver Wyman office. We had an excellent turnout with over 60 attendees.
We had a packed agenda and here are some of the key highlights:
- Bella Chow introduced her follow co-leads of the User Group, and the Hong Kong Alteryx User Group 2024 Roadmap
- Other co-leads include Chadwick Cheung (host of the evening), Clementine Pages and Lily Loi
- The User Group will be meeting at least once per calendar quarter
- Users can expect to learn, share and connect amongst each other
- Social events will also be organized so that we can all have some fun!
- Paul Baptist (Vice President, Solutions Engineering at Alteryx) shared some recent updates on the Alteryx platform
- Apart from on-premise solutions (Designer and Server), Alteryx has cloud-based solutions such as Auto Insights, Designer Cloud, Machine Learning etc.
- Some of the new Platform features include migration of workflows from one server to another, server API tool, new search box in Select Tool, PDF to Text Tool, multi-anchor caching etc.
- A new AI-enabled solution will be released soon – AiDIN. We were able to get an early preview of some of the functionalities
- Regina Wang, Edwin Xu, and Jacqui Miao from Oliver Wyman presented a live demo of a Management Information Proof of Concept
- Demonstrated how Alteryx can streamline and automate the MI reporting and analytics processes
- Integration with third-party tools such as Power BI for dashboarding
- Advanced predictive analytics with R
- Calvin Tang, one of the few Alteryx ACEs in Asia, shared his valuable experience and useful tips on using Alteryx effectively

After the meeting, we received a high volume of positive feedback and interest in attending the next quarterly meeting. No doubt the co-leads are hard at work on this, so stay tuned!
