Hello all,

I am Kevina Tweddle and I am currently taking an Emerging Technologies in Accounting course. As of right now we are learning more about Alteryx. It seems to be similar to powerquery on Excel, except I would say it involve more steps since you have to drag more tools to get an action done. Despite this, I think it will still be pretty useful since it allows you to easily clean up data, join files together, and makes a human task shortened. This would take longer if a human was working alone to clean up data and relate files to one another without the tools in Alteryx. I hope to learn more as i keep moving forward.

Thank you

Hi everyone, my name is Hagan Li, I'm a student at CSUF learning about Alteryx.  So far the software has been very smooth and while there is a lot of "clutter" due to the amount of tools available it doesn't take a trained eye to see the power of this stuff.

Hello,

Currently learning Alteryx for my Emerging Technologies in Accounting class at CSUF. I think its pretty cool so far. I like how you are able to combine multiple files together and organize data neatly. This can save you so much time if you have loads of data to deal with. I'm excited to learn more and to see how I can utilize Alteryyx in the accounting field.

Hi everyone! I'm a student at CSUF learning about emerging technologies in accounting. I've heard about Alteryx before, but haven't gotten the chance to learn it until now. I am excited to strengthen my technological skills and hopefully get to apply it to my future career in accounting. It has been very cool to see how you can manipulate and combine data all in one place. I hope to master it and receive my certification in Alteryx!

Hey, I'm Michael from California studying accounting. I'm currently diving into learning Alteryx, and it's been an amazing experience so far. I'm enjoying how powerful the tools are, especially the Summarize, Unique, and Cross Tab tools.

Hi! My name is Alexandra and I am a student at CSUF. I am currently taking Emerging Technology in Accounting as my last elective and we just started using Alteryx. My question is are there specific tools or configurations that can significantly improve performance and reduce runtime? I am enjoying using Alteryx and look forward to working on more projects!
