User Profiles - Company Metadata

Is a user's company captured anywhere in their profile? I couldn't see where to enter my company name in my profile.

I would like to be able to search for the Alteryx users at my company.

Great question. The Company name is actually synced over from a users Gallery profile. If you go to gallery.alteryx.com (same login credentials), and click into edit your profile (upper right hand corner of the page) -- you will see the option to add/update Company details & other personal information.

The ability to search for users by company in the Community, is completely dependent on individual privacy settings.  By default, this information is private, which means it's not searchable via the Community.

Many of our users rely on anonymity, either due to internal company policies or personal preference, in order to participate in the Community -- which is one of the reasons we do not reveal things like Company information by default.

While I know this doesn't exactly get you what you need, I hope the additional explanation is helpful ;-)
