Parsing Data Topics on the Certification Exam

Hi Community,

I have enjoyed walking through the inactive lessons and have learned a lot about Alteryx. However, I had some trouble with the "Writing Expressions with RegEx" in the Parsing Module. I do not have much of a coding background so most of the expressions did not make much sense to me. With that said, I have two questions:

1. What is the best way to learn how to learn how to write these expressions?

2. How heavily is this tested on the certification exam?

Look through the weekly challenges index (https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Weekly-Challenge/Weekly-Challenge-Index-amp-Welcome/td-p/48275) for Regex examples and work through the solutions posted by others.

There are also videos covering regex (https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Videos/Video-Training-Index/td-p/45161)

Regex is tested thoroughly in the Advanced exam - also look at the videos on Certification exam prep.
