Notifications not disappearing

Hey! Apologies if this isn’t the right place for this discussion - do let me know if not.

However, ever since making my community account, I can’t seem to permanently get rid of my ‘read’ notifications. If I’m in the middle of a session and get and then read new notifications, they disappear (icon shows as 0). However, if I start a new session a little while later or load up Alteryx, I get all of my notifications at once again (I.e. right now I have the red icon with 93 unread notifications showing).

is this a bug or something I need to change in settings?

Hey @DataNath 

It's a bug. There's another thread about it where Alteryx acknowledged it. They need to work with the 3rd party forum provider to get a fix.
