Notifications every time I log in lately

Hi - It just started happening a few weeks ago and I have been ignoring it as there is no impact on community/site performance but whenever I log in it indicates I have 101 notifications up top by my user name.  There arent any actual new notifications though.

 

Does anyone else ever see that and know how to fix it?
