For those of you that use this tool on a regular basis, is this a be all end all or do you still require other tools to effectively get the job done? how would you compare Alteryx to the likes of UiPath for example on ease of use and similarity?

My ex-boss used to tell me to be a generalist and not a specialist. Naval Ravikant also says that specialists are for insects.
Being good at Alteryx is one of the many skills that will take you far in life. Knowing other tools and mixing it with Alteryx will get you even further.
One word of advice, the tools you use will often be dictated by the company you join. If they happen to be UiPath focused and not Alteryx focused, then knowing both gets you ahead. Once you're comfortable, you can always promote tools within an organization as well.
Bottom line is: Learn Alteryx, but learn everything else too.
