Hi all,
Like many organizations, we are moving away from the network drive that we use. Currently, our workflows and macros all rely on this.
We are exploring other options:
- SharePoint
- Azure Storage Account
Has anybody been able to successfully move away from a network drive at all? Happy to hear other suggestions away from those listed above too.
Many thanks!

My experience with SharePoint has been pretty bad using the SharePoint Input and Output tools. I noticed that it was much slower and due to my orgs’ config, my connection with SharePoint needed to go through a layer of sign ons with keys. Annoying when you go on Server since you have to ride on the end user’s keys.

It can be challenging depending on the size of your organization and the support you get from IT group. Will your Server also be a cloud deployment? If not, you might have to worry about data ingress/egress charges. Those can add up.
Data Connection manager does seem like it was built to help address a lot of the problems @caltang alluded to as far as authentication goes.
