Iterative Macro that takes in overlapping trade areas and outputs Max no-overlap TA

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody has created/would know how to create an iterative macro that would take in a file of trade areas (that all overlap at least one other in the file), and return the maximum number of trade areas possible with no overlap? I'd assume this requires some sort of greedy algorithm. 

Please let me know if you're able to do so!
