Dynamic input for recent folder instead of file

I wanted to create a dynamic input which pulls in the current folder(not the current file) for the data below. I know how to sort out the recent files, but want to do the same for a folders from the data below.

What do you mean by "pulls in the current folder"?  Do you mean the files within those folders, or just the "name" of those folders?  

The Directory Tool may be what you need.  You can point it to a directory, and it will read in the paths/names of all files in that directory (and subfolders if so chosen).  From there you can connect it to a Dynamic Input tool to read in the data from files.
