Do you need to have Alteryx open during the test?

For the Designer Core certification, I would encourage it; the Designer Advanced certification requires it.  Each test has certain questions where it would be useful to pull a couple tools down onto the canvas.  The Designer Advanced has three questions at the end that require you to build a workflow in order to answer the question.

I recently passed the certification test and would definitely recommend it.

Even though i have been using Alteryx for a year now, I still ran into a few questions regarding functionality that I have never used. Having it open gives you the option of learning new things and reconfirming whether you really know something as well as you thought
