Cross reference from one excel sheet to another - how?

Hi

How do I cross reference the data in column C back to an external list? The responses to this check should be recorded in column D (saying Yes or No if the cross referenced to the external report). Also once we have established if they are on the list - I need to identify an action and list it on column E - if they are not on the external report the column should read "Deactivate".

Finally - the data from column A comes from an excel sheet that holds the team names across multiple tabs rather than one tab (based on the team members location) - how do I pull the data from all of the tabs into one column (column A) without having to cut and paste from the multiple tabs in the external excel workbook.

You would have load the other Excel sheets with Input data tools and then use the Join tool to find matches.
