I have deleted 'my alteryx' account as it was of my previous organisation and now I'm unable to log into community account. I have created a new my alteryx account with current organisation mail id but I need my community account back. Is there any solution to this?
I tried getting community support but it's taking a lot of time to respond. Like 1,2 weeks. Any help would be much appreciated!
Submit a case in your new My Alteryx - unfortunately even if anyone here has direct experience with this issue (hopefully they can give some pointers), we won't be able to do anything so it's something Alteryx will have to fix internally
Hi @gitcode I'm sorry to hear this. I believe as staff member has already reached out privately, but I wanted to reply here for other folks who may run into the same issue. Unfortunately, once an account is deleted, it can’t be recovered and all associated data and activity are permanently removed as part of the deletion process.
I’m really bummed about losing my community account. I’ve completed around 70 weekly challenges and made quite a few contributions, so losing all that progress and badges feels pretty rough 😣. Learning from this experience I would like to make a request to the community team. It would be great if we could keep our community account email separate from our work email. That way, even if we switch organizations, our community account stays safe and we don’t lose any progress. Please consider this request.
