Above is the learning path. Also getting the weekly challenges would help a lot.

Hi,
You should take the lessons on website first, and then practice as much as possible. Finally, you will take a n exam to get a certificate.
I just know this from my professor because I am also a new one to learn about this machine.

You can take a look at weekly challenges. https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Weekly-Challenge/Weekly-Challenge-Index-amp-Welcome/td-p/48275
They're a great way to quickly practice what you'll learn in the interactive lessons, and there are challenges for all levels.

Hey @robertjongarcia, firstly, welcome to Alteryx! 😁 In addition to the great resources and tips shared above (Weekly Challenges and Learning Paths), I thought to also share an extremely useful resource I use myself as well - Tool Mastery Articles!
They provide a further deep dive into the utility of common tools in Designer and act as a supplement to our Help Documentation. Knock yourself out with the thrill of solving!
All the best with your certification! 😎

Does anyone have more tips for the test? Does the test include multiple choice and practice questions?

To be more specific to your question, yes the test is multiple choice questions.
You have practice sessions also.
The below will the one stop learning platform for your preparation.
https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/ayx.policies/Core+Certification+Exam+Prep+Guide.pdf
Break into 2 parts:
1. Go through all the tools in Tools Palette and their usage/limitations.
2. Also request you too practice as much as possible with Challenges before taking up the exam.

Answering 80 questions in 2 hours for Core Designer will be ending up in time crunch.
As nowadays most of the companies have started using Alteryx in future it will be like one of MANDATORY applications like Excel.
All the best for your exam. Welcome to the Alteryx community.
