Am I typing this right?

"(" ")" Are these symbols together used to extract or parse data? I could not get through some of the lessons because it wanted me to type these symbols but it would not accept what I typed. Thanks.

Hi @chris122 ,

 

I'm not sure I understood what you would mean with "(" ")".

If you want to insert the character " or ' in a formula for example, you can use like this:

To insert " = ' " '

To insert ' = " ' "

You can use both the single and double quote to represent a text.
