Alteryx vs. Trifacta

Dear Alteryx Community,

I would like to hear your opinion on some of the pros and cons of Alteryx data wrangling capabilities when compared with the Trifacta Wrangler.

It is clear that Alteryx can do much more than just data wrangling. The question is rather how both tools compare in the field of data wrangling. They seem to be both very powerful in that area.

I tried out Trifacta about a year ago.

Honestly, it was pretty terrible in comparison.

First of all, for anything above very basic functions it required some serious infrastructure; which meant a large IT project.

Even after all of that, the amount of time required to perform the same functions in Trifacta vs Alteryx was anywhere from 2 to 10 times longer in Trifacta.
