Here's my day 1 solution. Quick and easy a nice way to start the challenge.
My main mistake on day 1 was reading the whole intro to AoC again and not skipping it.
Thankful for a prep and blend challenge before we get into the crazy ones!
Here's my day 1 solution--great start everyone
I am surprised by the story with elves in the jungle, but I am sure it will be adventurous (again).Here is my flow:
Day 1 done ! ✔️
AoC being back feels very good !
Easy start to dive in, before something like IntCode pops up and we lose hope ...
I could have done better on part 1 by summarizing using Max agregation instead of using the combo "Sort-Sample-Select".
Day 1 completed! Fun challenge and looking forward to the rest!

First time doing AoC - can't wait for this to go horribly wrong. Day 1 done!!
Here's an alternative method - just for fun.
Day 1 in the bag. Obviously, I'm not getting out bed at 5am to do this because I was obviously out partying with movie stars last night.
Nice and simple intro:
I image the same as most solutions.
Aside from @DavidP who wanted to solve it without the Multi-Row because lah-dee-daaaaaah.

@AkimasaKajitani I like how you use the star icons in the Browse tools to show where your answers are, that is very clever!!

@mceleavey I am not sure that I like that we both took the same approach... your training must have slowly been turning me to the dark side

Here's my solution for Day 1
The goal this year is to make it past the first 7 days!
I thought I'd give it a second shot playing tool golf. 5 tools without the Input - for both parts :-)
After talking to others, seems like tool golf has the rule to provide the exact answer in a row (and not use profiling in the browse tool. Here is the adjusted version: Still counting five tools.
I also get 5 tools overall, for both parts.
@kelsey_kincaid I like the refactoring so you don't need to split to two streams for part 1 and part 2 👍
