Alteryx Server : Default administrator password

Hello,

I just downloaded the Alteryx Server and I'm trying to install it.

Everything seems fine :

• I defined a default Gallery Administrator : with my mail
• I enabled the SMTP Configuration : and the test is OK (I got the mail)

But if I try to sign in Gallery with my mail, it doesn't work (because I don't have the default password). If I clik on "Forgot your password" to retrieve it, I don't get any more mail...

Could you please help me?

Hi, 

On the gallery, you need to first sign in to create the administrator account, using the email address you have provided in the Alteryx System settings. 

On you web browser, go to the URL of your gallery (by default it shoule be localhost/gallery) then create the admin user.

I finally figured out what was going on : on Firefox, when I tried to create my account (with the Administrator mail), I didn't have the popup warning me about the password policy...

I just changed my web browser and was able to sign in ... thanks a lot!
