Wasn't summer supposed to be a quiet time? It feels like things are moving faster than ever here at Alteryx, so why not have a release? I'm excited to announce the release of version 6.2 of Alteryx later this month with a fantastic new addition for our Server clients.
The new Charting tool that will be in 6.0 contains a chart type called "Box and Whisker". For those of you who are not familiar with that type of chart, basically it is a statistical type of chart, which represents a "normal distribution" as if it were viewed from above the curve, looking down on it.
Since 1.0, people have been requesting looping in Alteryx. We have added a lot of features over the years to give various types of loops. The GenerateRows & MultiRowFormula tools gave looping functionality within a module, but were not sufficient for complicated algorithms.
