I have been using the Reporting tools a lot lately as I have been working on a Consumer Profiling wizard for Demographics Now. I have become pretty handy with them and figured I’d blog about a little tip I picked up creating my own legends for charts and maps using the Reporting Table tool.
Ah, the simple joys of the Sample tool. It has to be one of the easiest tools in Alteryx for new users to grasp. I know for myself, it is a frequently used method of selecting exactly the records I wish to work with. here
I never cease to be amazed at all of the things that Alteryx can be made to do. I was recently on a call with a client who asked if Alteryx could be used to dynamically serve up thematic map tiles that could be mashed up with Google or Bing Maps. My first reaction was, why not?
