Hi everyone,

1. I'm Carlos, I am an intern at Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics

2. Last movie I went to was Star Trek: Beyond, and I thought it was pretty good

3. The Alteryx tool that represents me the most is probably the formula tool, as I like to use logic to deal with many fields in my life.

Hi Carlos,

welcome to the group. Yes the formula tool is a very interesting tool. Are you using Alterix for a specific project or just playing with it?

Hi All,

I'm Dan, I work in financial services. The last movie I went to was Silence (it was pretty awful in my opinion!). I don't think my Alteryx skills are advanced enough to liken myself to any tool yet unfortunately!!!

I'm new to the group (and Alteryx) and was hoping that you guys may be able to help me. I work in a small finance company and we are looking to recruit a new emeber to our team. We work with a lot of data from a wide range of sources and were hoping to find someone with experience in Alteryx as there is a skill gap in the organisation when it comes to ETL etc.

If any of you had any suggestions as to where to look for experienced Alteryx users in the market it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I'm Marion and from a N.I. Retail Bank.

Last movie was Dr Strange and it was good.

The Fuzzy logic best represents me!

Like Dan I'm looking for Alteryx Resources in Ireland, Belfast if ppossible. I need to provide multiple quotes for a consultancy project to migrate existing tasks.

If you know of any Alteryx specialists for a short/ medium term project, let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dan,

Sorry to hear about Silence. The last movie I watched was Babe - Pig in The City and was surprisingly weird. I am a big fan of the Append Fields tool.

I am the Managing Director of The Information Lab in Ireland and would be very happy to speak with you and help in any way we can. I am also a qualified ACCA and a huge fan of Alteryx and would like to bring your attention to this post, as you will see our vision for finance and Alteryx.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Hi Marion,

We have been in touch by email. If you need our support in any way, please let me know.

Hello fellow Alteryx fans!

Wonderful to make contact with some fellow Irish users.

I use Alteryx and Tableau for my Data Analytics consultancy: O'Grady Advisors

Most recently I used the forum to help me with my understanding of the Fuzzy Match tool.

I think I've now mastered it, but it would be great to discuss further with any other like-minded person!

Doing lots of work in the marketing analytics sphere right now. Drop me a line if I do anything for you!

Best wishes,

I am Tony Swaine. I work part-time for Perception Consulting but also as a volunteer data analyst for County Wicklow Citizens Information Service. Background is as a BI consultant for around 20 years.

Don't watch many movies - heavily into music/singing with 4 choirs so not much other spare time. Last movie in Cinema  was Skyfall - ages ago. It was a bit frenetic although some would say "action packed".

I like using the fuzzy match tool and find it very useful in name and address cleansing - but maybe its because I'm a bit fuzzy too
