How do I count individual occurrence of a string by string in another column?

I am using Alteryx 2018.

I would like to count how many individuals in a department have missed work by day.  So in department 88 3 employees missed on date xx/xx/xx, in department 52 1 employee missed on same date, in department 35 5 employees missed on same date, etc until I have a result for the year of department # of Employees gone and date.  Workflow is attached and the main data is in the top flow up the the UNION tool.  I will need to merge the two flows together at some point but I may be doing it to soon.  I just know that the data for what I am requesting is the data from the top work flow.

@jschoenh what you attached does not have the source data.  If you go to the Options menu and Export it will wrap the project into a yxzp

If you attach that it will be easier to solve your problem.
