Salesforce Field not showing (calculated field)

We have sales data in multiple currencies, and there is an ‘Amount (converted)’ field, which is the converted USD amount of an opportunity that is available in Salesforce reports, but Alteryx seems to be able to retrieve only ‘Amount’ field, which may be in different currencies. The ‘Amount (converted)’ field simply does not appear as an option. From what my teams tells me, the ‘Amount (converted)’ field is calculated using data from an Oracle DB. Is there a way to pull this field somehow or do we need to do currency conversion as an additional step in the Alteryx workflow. I'd like to avoid the latter as there may be discrepancies. The reason it may not be available is because it's calculated? Thanks

Could you grab the 'Amount converted' field by using a new input connecting to your Oracle db? Then join back to the SF stream in Alteryx. An easier solution would be to ask for/figure out the oracle formula and reproduce in Alteryx.

I got this response from a nice guy at Alteryx: Calculated fields will not be readily available in the Query Builder part of the Salesforce Input but if you go to the Custom Query and create a clause to pull in these tables you should be able to pull in the data.

Works.
