Changing the header

Hi Team 

i need a solution for changing my file header.  i have a below file.

		Fiscal year	2015	2015	2015	2015	2015	2015
			Jan	Feb	Mar	Apr	May	Jun
Business Unit	Category	Brand Posit	Sales Volume	Sales Volume	Sales Volume	Sales Volume	Sales Volume	Sales Volume
Israel	Dressings	Total Positions	533.922	703.091	948.898	408.131	604.25	568.334
Israel	Dressings	Global/Regional	122.297	133.586	128.228	129.779	147.732	143.841
Israel	Dressings	Global	122.297	133.586	128.228	129.779	147.732	143.841

i need above to be changed to 

Business Unit	Category	Brand Posit	Jan 2015	Feb 2015	Mar 2015	Apr 2015	May 2015	Jun 2015
Israel	Dressings	Total Positions	533.922	703.091	948.898	408.131	604.25	568.334
Israel	Dressings	Global/Regional	122.297	133.586	128.228	129.779	147.732	143.841

Basically I need to delete first two rows and make third row has my header and need to change the Sales volume header name to month and year which was there in first and second row.

Can any one please help me on this.

hi @Pradeepkumar,

First use sample tool to skip first row of data and than use dynamic rename tool and select ( take field names from first row of data). after this you can use select tool to rename fields you want

Couldn't resist giving this one a try myself, mines very similar to @Inactive User's post but it should do the job you need.

Thanks for this! I know its one of the more simple things to do, but things can get really overwhelming to first time users. I was able to follow along and apply it to my own work.

How about the solution if instead TEXT INPUT tool you have INPUT DATA tool? Then first row is perceived not the header one but first row of data and then the solution doesn't work. Do you have any ideas how to deal with this in case we have INPUT DATA tool at the beginning? thanks!

actually I found the answer for that one myself 😄 quite easy one, but I am a newbie 🙂

For Input toll it is enough to tick the box "first row contains data" and then follow one of the above solutions.
