Hi, fellow DFW Maveryx! Please save the date for our upcoming April user group meeting, which will be Friday, April 25th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.! We are excited to announce that we will be able to have an in-person meeting, generously hosted by East Texas A&M University in Dallas!
East Texas A&M University is a leading university in many fields of study, and the Dallas location specializes in various areas of Agriculture, Business, Education, Engineering and Technology, Visual Communications, Public Health, and much more. They have a beautiful campus located on multiple floors at 8750 Northpark Central, located across Highway 75 from Northpark Mall in Dallas. Our meeting will be hosted on the 20th floor, with scenic views of the Dallas metroplex, and cutting-edge technology for the presentations! We are grateful to East Texas A&M University for hosting our meeting, with special thanks to Dr. Sri Beldona, Chief Academic Officer, and Molly DePue, Dallas Operations Project Manager for their support of our user group.
We are also glad to welcome back to the DFW Alteryx User Group stage Shukla Shanthakumara, Business System Analyst at NVIDIA, and graduate of the UT Dallas Master's program. You may remember Shukla's presentation for our user group last year on campus at UTD, where she described her amazing journey in data analytics, along with how her career skyrocketed by learning Alteryx! It is a privilege to feature such a talented user group member again, and she will showcase how her data analytics pathway is continuing to grow at NVIDIA; we look forward to the presentation!

Enter the building through the main entrance and proceed to the 2 nd bank of elevators directly to the right of the security desk for access to the 19 th floor.
After arriving on the ETAMU floor (19th floor), please proceed to the ETAMU LionHead elevator for access to the 20 th floor, then follow the signs to the user group meeting!
Guests to East Texas A&M - Dallas may park in any unmarked parking spaces throughout the exterior parking lots, and no parking permits are required.

Hi, DFW Alteryx User Group Members! Just a reminder to save the date for the upcoming virtual March meeting, which will be Friday, March 28th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.! We are excited to feature Jessica Salazar, Digital Process Innovation Senior Analyst at Toyota, presenting an "Overview of an Alteryx Solution that Enhanced Operational Process Efficiency with Multiple Users". We greatly appreciate Jessica joining as our guest speaker, and she has provided the following outline of the presentation:
"This presentation provides an overview of an innovative Alteryx Analytics App developed to enhance and streamline a monthly operational process performed by multiple analysts at Toyota. The solution includes the use of Python to alert users to errors, save files to multiple team folders, and notify users upon completion, ensuring ease of data readiness and improved efficiency."
Following Jessica's presentation, I will showcase a "How To" session on configuring the Report Map tool. If you have ever wondered how to set up this tool and create maps in Alteryx that convey data and insights effectively, this session is for you! I will also provide details on how to generate a thematic map by color-coding customers based on specific criteria.

Chris Williams, Alteryx ACE and CTO, Precision Analytics Group, will present a very cool topic called "Alteryx to SQL: Automating Database Creation with Ease", and he provides the following outline:
"Learn how to leverage Alteryx to seamlessly create and populate a SQL Server database. This talk will walk you through the process of transforming the raw customer data into a structured SQL database using Alteryx’s powerful automation and workflow capabilities. Perfect for analysts and data engineers looking to streamline database creation without manual coding."
We are looking forward to learning how Chris utilizes the power and capabilities of Alteryx to perform this detailed and involved task!
Next, Alteryx ACE Mark Thompson, Principal Consultant at Concentrix Catalyst, will present several of his engaging, unique, and ACE-ly Tips and Tricks, and may even take us into the viewpoint of solving advanced Weekly Challenges from his expert point of view!
