Hi, DFW Alteryxians! Great news; I am happy to announce that this month’s in-person meeting will be hosted by Alteryx, at the Plano Alteryx office!
This will be our first in-person meeting since February 2020, and we are more than excited to be able to have everyone together again. The Plano Alteryx office has generously offered to provide sandwiches and refreshments during our meeting, and we are grateful to them for hosting our “reunion” meeting on Thursday, June 30 th , from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The office is located at 7950 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX, 75024, and our meeting will be hosted in the conference room on the second floor. Free parking is available in the garage next to the building. For those members who were part of the user group in 2018, this is the same location where we hosted our August meeting that year for the Alteryx Plano Office Grand Opening.
As part of our reunion meeting, we will feature long-time user group member and Alteryx ACE, Charlie Squyers! Charlie is the Lead Analytics Developer at Buxton, and will present an entertaining session called “What the XML?”. Join us to learn more about this fascinating topic, and hear from one of the best!
Additional presenters will be announced soon, and please stay tuned. Please also RSVP by clicking "Yes" on the top right corner of this page; we would like to obtain a count of attendees in advance of the meeting, so that Alteryx can provide food and beverages for all. Seating is limited, so please RSVP early if possible.

Hi, Maveryx! Save the date for the upcoming in-person user group meeting, which will be this Friday, March 22nd, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.! With the weather becoming more like Spring, let's celebrate with an in-person event! (Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog, predicted an early Spring and it is true for Texas!) 😀
This in-person meeting is generously hosted by The Commit Partnership, who was our 2017 - 2018 Alteryx For Good recipient! Our user group had 22 volunteers who assisted the education-based nonprofit with creating solutions in Alteryx, enabling them to grow tremendously in their analytic and outreach efforts.
David Rardon, Analytics and Insights Director at Commit, and co-leader of our user group, was one of our volunteers back then, and is now helping the nonprofit to achieve numerous goals! To learn more about The Commit Partnership, and all the innovative things they do for Dallas and beyond in the world of education, please visit: The Commit Partnership
The Commit Partnership is located at:
3000 Pegasus Park Drive Dallas, TX 75247
Please join us in the Pegasus Park Conference Center room on the first floor, lobby level of the Main Tower.
Pegasus Park hosts a beautiful historic building, with the iconic Pegasus symbol at the top! I grew up admiring this building as a child, and it is a privilege to visit it and view some of the original architecture inside. It has been renewed as a 26-acre campus hosting forward-thinking companies and organizations; to learn more about Pegasus Park, please visit Pegasus Park in Dallas, Texas .
Refreshments and appetizers will be provided during the meeting by Commit, and we are grateful for their support of our user group! Please feel free to join us after the meeting as well for networking next door at Community Beer (other beverage choices are available, including non-alcoholic ones). Home | Community Beer Co.
Our guest speakers include a presentation by Kristen Davis of the Commit Partnership, featuring a Cohort Analysis of Student Level STARR Assessment Results. Kristen will describe how they were able to utilize Alteryx to clean and compile large statewide public datasets in order to understand how an individual’s performance on the STAAR academic assessment changed over their years as a student. She also uses Tableau for visualization of data output from Alteryx, and a Q&A will follow the presentation.
Next, Alteryx ACE Treyson Marks, Managing Partner at DCG Analytics, will return to DFW to continue the conversation on intermediate processes in Alteryx. Treyson has been focusing on the new Alteryx Cloud products, and this is an excellent opportunity to ask him questions in person! To learn more about DCG Analytics, please visit Business Management Consulting Firm | DeMar Consulting Group
To RSVP, please click "Register" at the top right of this page; we would like to have an approximate count of attendees to send to our host in advance of the meeting. (Seating is limited to 70.)
Please join us for an opportunity to learn more about Alteryx, expand your skills, and network with other Alteryx users! Our user group is one of the best ways to share ideas with fellow members, and discover how they are gaining fast insights using innovative processes and techniques. We are looking forward to visiting with you on the 22nd; see you soon!

Hi, fellow DFW Alteryx User Group members! Please save the date for our upcoming in-person meeting on Friday, November 15th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We are privileged to host our meeting onsite at the University of Texas at Dallas campus in Richardson, and will feature some excellent guest speakers!
Our first guest speaker is Veda Swaroop Dasagrandhi, Master's student at UT Dallas. His presentation is called, "Empowering Students with Alteryx: Transforming Projects and Preparing for Data-Driven Careers". Veda has provided this excellent overview of the session:
"In my presentation, I’ll explore how Alteryx empowers students with tools for data preparation, analysis, and automation, transforming their academic projects into practical, real-world experiences. By mastering complex data tasks and streamlining workflows, students build critical skills that enhance their career readiness. I’ll also discuss how Alteryx supports faculty in enriching curricula, equipping students with in-demand data skills."
We are excited to hear Veda's engaging presentation and learn more about how Alteryx and the SparkED program have benefitted and influenced numerous students and faculty at UT Dallas!
Next, we welcome one of the newest Alteryx ACEs, Michael Keiffer, back to the DFW stage, where he will continue his presentation from the October meeting, with some cool new topics! Michael will feature how to build Batch Macros, and will create workflows step-by-step to show each tool configuration. He will also feature an Analytic App that inputs hundreds of files, and combines them into one file. Join us to see the ACE techniques in action!
For those who are not able to attend in person, the meeting will also be hybrid and hosted on Zoom. Please click "Register" at the top right of this page, and the link will be provided upon registration.
For all who can attend, this will be a great opportunity to network with like-minded Alteryx fans, so bring your business cards! Refreshments will be provided, and a parking pass is attached to this post. Please place the pass visibly on your vehicle dashboard, and parking is allowed in any Purple parking area. A parking map is available at this link: Parking Map . Please note: Purple parking is also available in the main parking garages noted on the map, such as PS1.
The meeting will be held classroom-style (and feel free to bring your laptops) in Room 1.508 in the JSOM (Naveen Jindal School of Management) building. A satellite map is attached, showing the parking garage PS1 at the top right, and the JSOM building at the bottom left. The walkway from the parking garage to the JSOM building is highlighted, and free parking is available in the PS1 parking garage. (Please see the Parking Map link above.)
Thank you to UT Dallas for generously hosting our user group meeting, and we look forward to seeing you there!
