Save the Date for the 2024 Kickoff User Group Meeting, January 26th!

Hi, DFW Alteryx User Group Members!  Happy New Year, and I hope 2024 is off to a great start for each of you!  Save the date for the upcoming 2024 Kickoff User Group Meeting, where we will begin the new year with special Alteryx ACE guest speakers on Friday, January 26th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central time!

For this virtual meeting, we will start with an engaging presentation by one of the ACEs, then we will feature a fun new topic that I have wanted to do for a while:  "Ask an ACE"!  In this session, a panel of ACEs will answer questions from attendees on any Alteryx topic.  This is your chance to ask those questions you have always wanted to, whether simple or detailed.  Feel free to ask those questions ad hoc during the meeting, or if you would like to send your questions in advance, you can either post them as a reply here, or email them to me at deanna.sanchez@novageographica.com .  

ACE guest speakers and the first presentation topic will be announced soon.  With the January and February weather in Texas being a little changeable, those monthly meetings will be virtual, and we are planning an in-person meeting for March.

Hi, Dallas / Fort Worth Maveryx!  Our agenda for this Friday's DFW Alteryx User Group meeting is set, and we have some special Alteryx ACE guest speakers!  Join us for a fun kickoff meeting for 2024, and enjoy camaraderie, learning more Alteryx, AND asking ACEs any questions you are interested in!

2:15 - 3:00 p.m.  Presentation by Claire McCullough, winner of the 2023 Alteryx Inspire Grand Prix, "Practical Tips to Advance from User to Super User"!  A Q&A session will follow Claire's very cool and insightful presentation.

3:00 - 3:05 p.m.  Community updates

3:05 - 3:50 p.m.  Ask an ACE panel session, featuring Claire McCullough of PwC, DFW's Charlie Squyers of Buxton, and (formerly Austin, Texas-based) Chris Lewis of JLL.

3:50 - 4:00 p.m.  It's a wrap!

A quick correction:  Claire won the 2022 Alteryx Inspire Grand Prix, which actually seems not that long ago!  :)  We are also very proud of the 2023 Grand Prix winner, who is local to our DFW area, Molly Harras!!  Congrats to both winners, and you inspire us to achieve new heights of data analytics!

Hi, Maveryx!  I apologize for the delay in posting the January recap; we had an excellent 2024 Kickoff user group meeting, with an engaging presentation by Alteryx ACE Claire McCullough of PwC!  Claire delivered an in-depth view of "Practical Tips to Advance from User to Super User", and it was enlightening to learn so many ways of advancing your knowledge and skills in Alteryx!  I especially enjoyed the part about making workflows truly dynamic; thanks, Claire, for such helpful best practices!

We then had an "Ask the ACE" panel, with Claire McCullough, DFW's Charlie Squyers of Buxton, and Chris Lewis of JLL.  Some thought-provoking questions were asked, along with entertaining ones!  Thank you again to our panel for providing awesome insight, as well as beneficial guidance for how to solve those more detailed puzzles in Alteryx.
