Hi, Dallas/Fort Worth Alteryx User Group Members! You are invited to the August Dallas/Fort Worth Alteryx User Group Meeting, which will be on Thursday, August 30th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.! This meeting will focus on Reporting Tools in Alteryx, and Utilizing Macros!
We are privileged to have Dallas’ own Margarita Wilshire, Senior Supervisor of Customer Support, Alteryx, as our guest presenter for Utilizing Macros. Margarita has been with Alteryx for 7 years, and will showcase the various types of Macros: Standard, Batch and Iterative, along with the Interface Tools of Macro Input, Macro Output and Control Parameter. If you have ever wondered how each of these Macro types work and when to use them, this presentation is for you!
Deanna Sanchez, Alteryx ACE and Senior Consultant, Teknion Data Solutions, will present the Reporting Tools: Using the suite of tools that allow you to create automated reports, including those that can be "burst" and distributed throughout an organization. Tips and Tricks with Reports will also be shown, such as creating a FilePath, then utilizing the FilePath to create directories, sub-directories and report titles, based on fields within the dataset.
