Hi, Dallas / Fort Worth Alteryx User Group Members!  We would like to invite you to our June virtual meeting, which will be Friday, June 25^th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central time!

This annual post-Inspire conference meeting will feature FOUR guest presenters:  All are Alteryx ACEs and will present refreshing and innovative takes on cool topics in Alteryx!  A couple of the ACEs will showcase their conference presentations, allowing members to ask questions and dive deep into the analytic processes.

Our first speaker will be Esther Bezborodko, Learning and Development Leader at McKinsey & Company.  She will present the popular “20 Tips in 20 Minutes” ACE session, which is a fast-paced, exciting learning experience for all levels of Alteryx users!

The second speaker will be Nicole Johnson, Manager, Business Solutions at T-Mobile.  Nicole’s presentation on “Creating a Custom SQL Query Building App” features tips & tricks for using a few basic interface tools to create a user-friendly app that will build out a customized SQL query, based on the user’s app selections.  This is great for those who are looking to provide “no-code” options for end users to query the data they need without writing a single SQL query!

Returning to the DFW User Group stage will be the famous Mark Frisch, CEO and Founder of Marquee Crew (and co-author of the CReW Macros at Chaos Reigns Within).  Mark shared this description of his engaging presentation, called “Alteryx.  No PowerPoint.”:

“MarqueeCReW is joining us to demonstrate his love for Alteryx by not having any powerpoint slides.  Remember that Alteryx is Excel’s BFF.  He’ll show us some mind-blowing results of allowing Alteryx and Excel to play together.  Imagine creating client-ready Excel workbooks that engage your client/users and are easily created (… once you do the hard-work …).  While there are no magic buttons, he’ll demonstrate how he makes things repeatable.  If time permits, he’ll crack open a Data Cleanse CReW macro too.

Our fourth speaker will be Thales Silva, Associate, Implementation Services at Data Meaning.  Thales will round out the list of creative and inventive presentations by showcasing an Introduction to Gallery APIs from an ACE point of view!

Hi, User Group Members!  Thanks again to the Fabulous Four ACEs who presented at our June user group meeting:  Esther, Nicole, Mark and Thales!  It was an outstanding meeting, with cool, innovative techniques that stretched the boundaries of Alteryx:

• Esther showcased "20 Tips in 20 Minutes" and I believe she actually showed more than 20 tips and tricks!
• Nicole wowed us with the adaptability of her SQL query building app
• Mark never fails to amaze, and showed a groundbreaking method of inserting data into an existing Excel spreadsheet
• Thales impressed us with new techniques in using the Server Gallery API and scheduling
