Hello, Dallas/Fort Worth Alteryx User Group Members! We have had many requests to expand the user group to the Fort Worth area, truly becoming the "Dallas/Fort Worth Alteryx User Group", as based on our group name in the Alteryx Community, and I agree this will be an excellent step forward!
We are happy to announce we will be hosting meetings in the Fort Worth area in addition to our Dallas meetings; these will be during alternating months, since our Dallas meetings are every other month. So, our user group members (over 200 now on LinkedIn and over 160 on the Community) can now attend meetings in either Dallas or Fort Worth - or come to both!
Meetings in Dallas will be during the odd-numbered months (such as the May meeting a couple of weeks ago), and Fort Worth meetings will be during even-numbered months.
The first Fort Worth based meeting will be held June 19th, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the Pier 1 Imports corporate offices:

The theme for this meeting will be a post-Inspire wrap up, showcasing this week's Alteryx conference! Please join us at this inaugural meeting as we enhance the user group participation for our Fort Worth members!
(Please note: The Fort Worth meetings are open to all Dallas/Fort Worth user group members, so if you are in the Dallas area or in between, please feel free to attend the Fort Worth meetings as well!) We will also be featuring a post-Inspire theme for the Dallas meeting in July, for those who cannot attend this meeting. Topics for meetings will not be similar between the two location for future meetings, though, but may be repeated (for example, the Macro topic presented at the May Dallas meeting will be presented later this year at the Fort Worth meeting). I believe this may be beneficial to the user group members so that if you miss one meeting, you may be able to attend another meeting later to hear the topic.
In addition, all postings for user group meetings in both locations will be posted here in our Dallas/Fort Worth user group page. This will prevent overlap and duplication of efforts (we are considered one user group), and will enable our members to be updated easily and simultaneously with one source page. This way, you can choose if you want to attend a meeting without having to check between two user group sources!
