April 2024 DFW Alteryx User Group meeting this Friday, the 26th!

Hi, fellow Maveryx!  Please save the date for our upcoming April virtual meeting, which will be this Friday, April 26th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central time!  We have some excellent presenters for this month's meeting, and exciting topics:

Our newest Texas Alteryx ACE, Molly Harras, will present how her company hosts an internal Alteryx Grand Prix!  Join us to learn how the event is structured, as well as how it benefits the Alteryx users and the company's data analytics culture.  It may even inspire you to start one at your own company!  Molly is the highly talented 2023 Grand Prix winner from the Alteryx Inspire conference last year, and it was thrilling to watch her solve the tasks in record time!

Chris Williams, Alteryx ACE and CTO of Precision Analytics Group, will present a predictive modeling topic:  Classification and using the Association Analysis tool in Alteryx.  We are excited to learn more, and to hear Chris' engaging presentation on advanced analytics!

Hi, DFW Maveryx!  Thanks to all who attended our April meeting, where we had some excellent guest speakers!  Chris Williams, Alteryx ACE and CTO of Precision Analytics Group presented an insightful dive into using the Association Analysis tool, along with examples of classification and preparing for predictive analytics in Alteryx.  Chris also showed us how to interpret results from the Pearson's Correlation interactive output, as well as many tips for utilizing the predictive tools!

Our newest ACE, Molly Harras of Pioneer Natural Resources, presented an engaging overview of how they host an internal Grand Prix event!  This event encourages company-wide participation, enabling friendly competition while also enlightening many departments about the numerous capabilities and features of Alteryx.  Molly explained the process for creating the Alteryx tasks to solve, as well as how the participants can be grouped into teams and use their talents to come up with winning solutions!
