Building the Future of Alteryx Certification in 2026

At Alteryx, we’re continually inspired by the passion and curiosity of our community. Your drive to learn, grow, and demonstrate your skills makes the Alteryx ecosystem thrive.

We’re beginning the process of evolving the Alteryx Certification Program to reflect better the expanding capabilities of the Alteryx platform and the real-world impact you create every day.

Why We’re Making Updates

Certifications remain a meaningful way to validate your skills. To ensure they stay relevant and valuable, we’re taking a thoughtful, phased approach to updating our program, focusing on alignment with current platform features, real-world use cases, and a more secure certification experience.

Transitioning from the Current Program

As part of this evolution, several current exams will retire in early 2026. You can continue to take all existing exams through the end of this year, and any credentials you’ve earned will remain valid through their expiration dates.

The following exams will be retired in the first half of January:

  • Designer Core Micro-Credentials (General Knowledge, Data Preparation, Data Manipulation, Data Transformation)
  • Foundation, Machine Learning Fundamentals, and Auto Insights Micro-Credentials
  • Trifacta Classic: Core, Advanced, Administrator

Looking Ahead

We’re designing the next phase of the Alteryx Certification experience to offer modernized content, flexible learning options, and broader recognition of your professional growth. We’ll also continue to provide an entry-level credential so every learner has an accessible starting point.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community and for continuing to learn with us. Stay tuned — the next chapter of Alteryx Certification is just getting started!
