The Alteryx Technology Track is always one of the most popular tracks at our Inspire user conference. And it's delivered by our iconic product management team. The sessions provide best practices and details on existing and new features in the product, how to use them, and examples of use cases. This year, we decided to do things a little differently. We asked YOU, our Alteryx community, to submit and vote on ideas for sessions. We captured the feedback and are proud to say that a great deal of the suggestions we received have been integrated into the 2017 agenda.

The most popular idea came to us from @r4upadhye, a BI Analyst, consultant, and valued member of the Alteryx Community.

I never thought that a casually suggested Tech Track idea would popularize and catch the attraction of the community! As an Analytics Consultant, I get a lot of requests to visualize geographic data in non-traditional ways. I am really looking forward to the spatial sessions, where I hope to learn new spatial tricks and gear up the developers I work with to thoroughly tackle topographical challenges.

Rahul’s suggestion, Maps - Basics & Advanced Techniques, was leveraged to create two unique sessions which cater to both beginner and advanced users of the spatial features available in Alteryx. If you’re looking to extend your spatial skills, be sure to mark your calendars for these two sessions! You can also use the Inspire Agenda Builder to create a more personalized agenda here

This session will help you kick up your insight a notch by understanding why the location point in your data matters. We'll also share common use cases for leveraging location information that add another level of detail to your insight.

The Art and (Data) Science of Data Cleansing and Quality

By itself, predictive modeling can be difficult to implement. What's more, the growing number of data types and sources are making the data preparation process more complex. While predictive modeling can deliver substantial business gains, it can also wreak havoc if the data used for analysis is not accurate or complete. In this session, we'll help you understand how to assess the quality of your data, cleanse and prepare data for analysis, and decide the right predictive modeling techniques for your specific situation.
