Christmas in July: Unwrap Missed Advent of Code Challenges

We’re turning up the holiday spirit early this year—not with sleigh bells, but with badges, coding challenges, and community cheer! The Alteryx Community is thrilled to announce our first-ever Christmas in July engagement event, running from July 7th to July 31^st, and you're invited to join the fun.

Whether you missed a few Advent of Code challenges during the hustle and bustle of December 2024 or you're new to the game, this is your chance to catch up, collect a badge, and reignite your problem-solving passion. As a reminder, you must solve the challenges in Alteryx (no coding tools or AI) and post your solution to the Community discussion posts to get credit towards badges.

Why Participate?

• Earn Incremental Badges: Complete 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 challenges and get rewarded with shiny new badges on your Community profile. Even if you already have a badge, you can keep earning the next one in the sequence—we’re adding, not replacing!

Looking forward to hopefully some revitalized banter in the AoC channel this month (see the "this blog" link above for how to join), so I don't feel like I'm just talking to myself as I continue to work my way through all past years of Advent of Code 🤣 (can't wait to finally be done with 2019 and move on to 2020... if I never see another IntCode computer challenge again, it will be too soon... IYKYK).

I do not know if I am the only one not to understand but I do not find the challenges to be resolved.

We are on July 1 and I do not see any link of the new challenges.

Should the challenges of December 2024 be resolved?

This event invites Alteryx Community members to revisit the 2024 Advent of Code challenges, offering a chance to complete more puzzles and potentially earn a higher badge tier than they could during the original competition period.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable AoC Christmas in July!  It may have now shifted over to August, but that's no reason to quit solving!

Just hit the 400* milestone and am pacing nicely to complete my self imposed Year of Code challenge with hopefully some time to spare for a nice break before the real event heats back up in December!

Back on track after losing May to Inspire and a blown up computer!
