THIS CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, THE UNITED KINGDOM AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) ONLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. DO NOT ENTER UNLESS YOU MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ARE LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES, THE UNITED KINGDOM OR CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Rules are subject to change. Please check back on a daily basis for any material modifications as advanced notice of change will not be provided.

1. ELIGIBILITY: The 10 Things I Love About Alteryx Contest ("Contest") is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the United Kingdom and Canada (excluding Quebec). The Contest is open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction (state, province, etc.) of residence at the time of entry and such individuals must be a registered Alteryx Community member. The following individuals are not eligible: employees, contractors, directors and officers of Alteryx, Inc. ("Sponsor"), its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and the web design, advertising, fulfillment, judging and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Contest (collectively, "Contest Parties"), and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and spouse or "step" of each) of, and those living in the same households as, each such individual. Contest is void outside the US, UK, Canada and where prohibited.

2. OVERVIEW: Eligible individuals may enter the Contest by creating and submitting in writing 10 things they love about Alteryx by replying to a post in the Alteryx Community (an "Entry"). Only one Entry per person please.

3. TO ENTER:  Submit your top 10 things by commenting on the blog article "Contest - 10 Things I Love About Alteryx". The Contest entry period begins at between 9:00 a.m. PT on September 10, 2015 and ends at 12:00 p.m. (noon) PT on October 9, 2015 (the "Entry Period").

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS:

• The Entry must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights (e.g. no trademarks or logos);
• The Entry must have been created by the Entrant;
• The Entry must not contain material that is inappropriate, depicts nudity or is indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous under US or California law;
• The Entry must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
• The Entry must not contain material that promotes any illegal activities or any other activity that may appear unsafe or dangerous;
• The Entry must not contain material that promotes any particular political agenda or message;
• The Entry must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Submission is created;
• The Entry must not contain any materials relating to lotteries, gambling, tobacco, alcohol or drugs.

5. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Entrant warrants and represents that the Entry:

• is original;
• does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity rights, ownership or any other legal or moral rights of any third party;
• has not been entered in contests sponsored by anyone other than Alteryx, Inc. or won previous awards in an Alteryx contest or any other contest;
• is suitable for public viewing.

By submitting an Entry, Entrant represents that he/she owns all rights to each element of his/her Entry, including, without limitation, the copyrights in the Entry. Sponsor's determination as to whether the Entry violates the rights of any third party is final.

Each Entrant irrevocably grants Sponsor and its affiliates, legal representatives, assigns, agents and licensees, the unconditional and perpetual right and permission to reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, publicly perform, adapt, exhibit and/or otherwise use or reuse (without limitation as to when or to the number of times used), on an exclusive basis, each element of the Entrant's Entry, and use of the Entrant's name, likeness, photograph (collectively, "Likeness"), and/or statements regarding his/her participation in this Contest (with or without using the Entrant's name) in any and all media without limitation as to time or territory, and without additional compensation or approval from the Entrant or any other party. Entrant waives intellectual property rights, privacy/publicity rights or other legal or moral rights that might preclude the Sponsor's use of any element of the Entry, and agrees not to sue or assert any claim against the Sponsor for the use of any element of the Entry or Entrant's Likeness or statements. Entrant further grants all end users of Sponsor's Web Site/ Community (a) the ability to rate, vote, review, comment on and tag the Entry; (b) the ability to send and distribute the Entry via e-mail, instant messenger, and via social media or other electronic means.

Entrant agrees to indemnify and hold Sponsor, its agencies and Contest Parties and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders or other partners, and any of their employees (collectively, the "Indemnitees"), harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) and liabilities (including settlements), brought or asserted by any third party against any of the Indemnitees due to or arising out of the use of any element of Entrant's Entry, or the Entrant's conduct in submitting an Entry in connection with this Contest, including but not limited to claims for trademark infringement, copyright infringement, violation of an individual's right of publicity or right of privacy, or defamation. Entrant further agrees to release Sponsor from any and all claims that any advertising subsequently produced, presented, and/or prepared by or on behalf of Sponsor infringes Entrant's rights with regard to any elements or ideas contained in any element of the Entry.

6. SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNER AND NOTIFICATION: At the end of the Entry Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by Alteryx, Inc. in its sole discretion will select one (1) grand prize winner for the best entry and ten (10) winners for the best quotes. Entries will be judged by a qualified panel of judges from Alteryx, Inc.’s executive team who will evaluate each Entry based on the following judging criteria:

• 50% creativity
• 50% votes (Stars) from the Alteryx Community

Decisions of the judges are final and binding. The winner will be announced at 5:00 PM Mountain Time on October 12, 2015. Only the winner will be notified; Entrants will not be notified if their Submission is disqualified or if their Submission does not win. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. VOTING

An Entrant may encourage other Alteryx Community members to vote for his or her Entry, but an Entrant may not attempt to induce others to vote for his or her Entry through the use of any incentive, sweepstakes or other promotion. Any use of automatic voting methods by any party will void all such votes and may result in the Entrant’s Entry being declared ineligible and disqualified from the Contest. Any attempt by an Entrant (directly or indirectly) to vote more than one vote using "bot" technology and/or any other fraudulent mechanism, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, shall give Sponsor the right to disqualify the Entrant in Sponsor's reasonable discretion. 

8. PRIZE: One grand prize winner will win a Go Pro Hero 4 Silver. 10 winners will win a custom t-shirt. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. 

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: No cash redemption or substitution will be allowed. If any prize is unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. Winning constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use Winner’s name, images, video, hometown, likeness, prize won, and photograph (all at Sponsor’s discretion) for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Contest Parties and their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete or delayed Entries; all of which will be void. Released Parties are also not responsible for problems related to technical malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failures, phone lines, failure of any Entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, traffic, congestion on the internet or the website, or for any other technical problems including telecommunication, miscommunication or failure, and failed, lost, delayed, incomplete, garbled, or misdirected communications which may limit a Entrant’s ability to participate in this Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether network, printing, typographical, human or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions with may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing or judging of Entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Contest-related materials. Mass entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Contest in the event it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired, and to cancel or suspend the Contest in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest and, if terminated, at Sponsor’s discretion, determine the Winner using all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time of cancellation using the judging procedure outlined above. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same Alteryx Community account, the authorized subscriber of the account at the time of Entry will be deemed to be the Entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and void his/her Entries) it finds to be tampering with the Entry process or the operation of this Contest or website, intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrant, Sponsor, or any of its representatives or to otherwise be acting in violation of these Official Rules. CAUTION: Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any website, Community site, or undermine the legitimate operations of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such Entrant to the fullest extent permitted by the law and to disqualify such Entrant from the Contest.   All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the Entrant/winner.   With respect to any disputes regarding contest, the decision of Sponsor is final. This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of California, and by entering; Entrants agree that all claims or disputes must be resolved exclusively in the federal or state courts in the State of California.

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with GoPro. GoPro ® and HERO® are the registered trademarks of Woodman Labs, Inc. d/b/a GoPro.

10. ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS & RELEASES: Entrant hereby acknowledges that Entry and all other materials of every kind whatsoever created by Entrant relating to the Contest (collectively, the “Work”) are a “work made for hire” (as that term is used in the United States Copyright Act) for Sponsor, and assigns to Sponsor (or, if any applicable law prohibits or restricts such assignment, Entrant hereby grants to Sponsor an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable license of) limited right, title and interest in and to such Work, including, without limitation, all rights of every kind and nature (whether now known or hereafter devised, including all copyrights therein and thereto and all renewals and extensions thereof), throughout the universe, in perpetuity, for all purposes, in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised. By submitting an Entry, Entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor may obtain many submissions under this Contest and that such entries may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to others submitted under this Contest and/or other contests staged and/or sponsored by the Sponsor, and waive any and all claims Entrant may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any composition, design, video and/or other works accepted, reviewed and/or used by the Sponsor (or its respective designees) may be similar to his/her Entry. Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor does not have now, nor shall any of them have in the future, any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of any copyright in and to Entrant’s Entry. By entering in this Contest, Entrant agree to Sponsor’s use of their personal information for both online and offline direct marketing purposes.

11. INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST/SWEEPSTAKES AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST/SWEEPSTAKES. In the case of entrants who are U.K. residents, the preceding paragraph does not operate in respect of any implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which from these Official Rules would contravene any U.K. statute or cause any part of these Official Rules to be void.

13. PRIVACY: By submitting an Entry in this Contest, in addition to the use described in these Official Rules, each Entrant agrees to Sponsor's use of participant's personal information as described in the Sponsor's Privacy Policy, located at http://www.alteryx.com/privacy-policy.
