Hi @TreyW Thanks for including me in the Beta! First up, I think this is a great concept and having interesting and relevant content surfaced to me is definitely something I'd find useful. I have a some initial points of feedback on the Recommendations based on what I'm seeing today: Recommendation #1 - Having a Weekly Challenge in the feed is great, but it would be better to see either (a) the most recent challenge (currently Week 257) or (b) a random selection from the 23 challenges I haven't yet completed Recommendation #2 - In a similar vein, I love the idea of podcast recommendations in my feed but I would say recency is probably the most important factor, so having the most recent episode would be more valuable to me than the episode that's shown. Recommendation #3 - This is a post regarding "community changes" from 2019 which is a bit outdated and possibly no longer relevant. Again, prioritizing more recent content would be more useful. Also worth noting that I had to click just to know that it was an old post, so I had a moment of "oh, some changes! wait no, this is really old..." Moving on to my second recommendation page: Recommendation #4 - Release notes for new versions would be great to see, but potentially confusing to have this for older versions. Recommendation #5 - This is old but a really interesting article. A great recommendation and the type of thing I probably wouldn't discover otherwise. The header image is a bit distorted (this is the case for others too) which is worth fixing. Recommendation #6 - Again, the fact it relates to an old event makes it feel out of place. So, general points to consider from these items: Prioritize more recent content where this makes sense (weekly challenges, podcasts, release notes, community updates) Recency is less important with longer-form content like blog posts, tool mastery, etc. Show the date on the post And thinking outside the box: If someone has already engaged with a post (e.g. commented) it would make sense not to recommend it Being able to thumbs up/down the content would be useful to help personalize it to my tastes Hope that's helpful feedback. I'll keep an eye on this and if anything new comes up I'll add a reply in this post.

Thank you for your interest in providing feedback or reporting issues with our new Recommendation Engine widget. If you stumbled upon this Beta program, and do not see the new widget on the landing page, PM me @TreyW to opt-in.
What is the Recommendation Engine?
The Recommendation Engine is the brainchild of some folks on our Data Science team. Combined with the big brains on our community platform team, we've created a widget that will recommend content that may be of interest to you.
Who can see the Recommendation Engine?
Currently, all Alteryx associates, along with randomly selected community users can see this widget. However, only you can see what your own personal recommendations are.
What types of content does the widget suggest?
I am glad you asked! The recommendation engine is currently serving up the following content types:
Welcome & Introductions
Alteryx Community Resources
Alteryx Designer Knowledge Base
Alteryx Server Knowledge Base
Alteryx Connect Knowledge Base
Alteryx Promote Knowledge Base
Alteryx Analytics Hub Knowledge Base
Location Data Knowledge Base
Alteryx Designer Ideas
Alteryx Server Ideas
Alteryx Connect Ideas
Alteryx Promote Ideas
Engine Works Blog
Data Science Blog
Alter Everything Podcast
Alteryx Use Cases
How often is new content suggested to me?
The algorithm is updated every night, so you should see new content approximately every 24 hours.
Where Can I Give Feedback or Report issues?
For any bugs, requests, or feedback you may have, please start a new topic in this board. Feel free to share your feedback on the widget, the recommendations,
If you would like to provide your feedback privately to the community team, feel free to PM @TreyW.
