The Auto Insights Uploader allows you to send data directly from Designer and Server to Alteryx Auto Insights. Please note that:
- Auto Insights requires a separate license from Alteryx Designer
- The connection is authenticated using Access Key and Secret which can be created in the Auto Insights user interface

What's new?
The Auto Insights Uploader tool will be included in new releases of Alteryx Designer; however we recommend that you download and install the latest tool compatible with your version of Alteryx Designer:

While this tool is compatible with Alteryx Designer and Server 2022.2 (FIPS) as noted above, Auto Insights and the Auto Insights Uploader tool are not FIPS compliant.
This tool uses a .yxi file format. A .yxi file is a package that includes an Alteryx Tool and all its dependencies zipped into a single file. When this file is imported into Designer, it will be installed within the In/Out category of tools.
When sharing a workflow that uses a .yxi tool, the tool is not included and must be installed by the recipient.
