The Charlotte community met on Wednesday, November 15th at the Dubois Center (UNC Charlotte's cool downtown building that looks like stacked boxes). After hearing about Alteryx's latest product and community announcements from @severhart , Valentina Radchanka gave an overview of the Alteryx Innovator program.
Then, it was onto our presenter, Renee Holt, who covered the Optimization tool! She started with optimization theory, teaching us the data science basics first, and then dove into the tool. It was a fun topic with fruitful group discussion, because her approach kept us all engaged. We then stepped into challenge #213 to see a live demo of the tool in action, which is where things got particularly nerdy. The group then wanted to open up the tool and dissect the macro within. Very fun. Very nerdy.
