Informatica ETL Developer - SAP HANA
8 to 12 years of ETL Development experience with strong expertise in Informatica and Alteryx and SAP HANA tools.
- Good understanding of the Data warehousing concepts, Oracle SQL and Teradata SQL expertise.
- Industry work experience in Informatica 9.x and above, Alteryx tools.
- Should have good coordination skills and Data Analysis skills.
- Design, develop, test and support new capabilities and ongoing changes within the various application data marts
- Should work with the multiple teams to understand the requirements, Design, Develop and test the interfaces
- Should have experience with Unit and Integration Testing process
- Strong Data Warehousing skills including: Data profiling, Data cleanup, Data masking in ETL.
- Experience extracting data from a variety of sources, and a desire to expand those skills (SQL server, Teradata, Oracle , DB2 )
- Experience handling Linux systems and stored procedures in SAP HANA.
- Collaborate with other IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver solutions that meet changing business needs
- Work with data owners to document data mappings and transformations to support effective downstream analytics and alerts
- Attend requirement discussions with business users and translate each business requirement into an AGILE story and feed user stories in VERSION ONE tool for tracking
- Conduct meetings with Subject Matter Experts and business and Solution Architects to get signoffs on the final requirements.
- Provide timelines for each VERSION ONE tasks/story, to be entered to project plan
- Update the team on a daily or weekly basis in case of any project blockers and red flags
- Assists in design, development and implementation of end-to-end complex ETL system using Informatica, Alteryx and SAP HANA tools.
- Follow change management process for go-live.
- Provide performance improvement related guidance for scalability and reusability of code and data objects.
- Apply specialized knowledge in assembly or integration, cross-discipline functions, knowledge engineering, industry expertise, or legacy evolution
- Apply industry best practices for master data management, entity resolution, ETL design and development, data quality assessment, metadata management and SAP HANA development.
- Work on the Data Analytical tool like Alteryx and Tableau to get better data performance, data preparation, data blending and analytics with the slice and dice the data for reporting.
- Document the detailed design which may include Data model, Data transformations, Database details, Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools and techniques used in a Design document
- Create Rules engine for Data Quality and provide Data validation based on Reference Data and industry standards.
- Need to keep in mind Raise software access requests to any database servers, tools and SharePoint portals required for the project.
